Will y'all be open New Year's Day? And what are your hours?
They will be closed per their Facebook page. Their hours are Mon-Thurs 5:00 P.M - 9:30 P.M. Fri and Sat 5:00 P.M. - 10:30 P.M.
Do they have anything on menu for keto dieters ?
No ... but look it up and ask them what you want. Very accommodating

WHY DON'T THEY HAVE A WEBSITE????
The owner is pretty set in his ways. Mario's has a been in Tyler going on thirty years.I've seen dozens of restaurants,open and close while Mario's stands the test of time. With it's devoted Employee's and faithful regulars, live music,a romantic atmosphere and great service and food you have Mario's, a consistent Tyler staple. So , why no web site? Mo sees no reason to change anything because it's working so well as is. But you can always check Mario's out on face book for anything you would need to know. Don't forget a good old Fashioned phone call is always an option too.
Are reservations recommended for Saturday night?
Yes. Definitely!

Went here with my family and unfortunately, the restaurant/owner wasn’t following social distancing orders and sat tables next to each other. We had to say something in order to be safe. The service was great, the food not so much. Nowhere near authentic as much as the other reviews say they are. The pasta was way overcooked and mushy, the salad was wet, and the rest was just mediocre. The atmosphere was nice with live singing and cool pictures, but the food needs changing.
